Prep and Response: SLC
May 14, 2019 - May 15, 2019
8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Sustainable Workplace Alliance is entering their sixth year of grant-funded training (from DOT/PHMSA) which allows them to conduct no-cost training to the public.
There are two classes coming to SLC this year.
These classes are a 1-day “Best Practices in Teaching Technical Subjects” class, and a 2-day “Hazardous Materials Instructor Training (HMIT)-49 CFR” class. I’ve attached a flyer for each one plus you can find more class information HERE
The dates we’ll be in SLC are as follows:
March 26, 2019 [1-day “Best Practices in Teaching”] REGISTER HERE
May 14 – 15, 2019 [2-day “HMIT”] REGISTER HERE
This is a great opportunity for members and clients who are CAIH and CIH to earn 6 technical contact hours of CEU’s for the 1-day class, and 12 technical contact hours of CEU’s for the 2-day class. 18 contact hours’ in total! And since the training is funded by a federal training grant, there is absolutely no cost to attend!
