Utah Chapter WISE Section

Hello All Utah Chapter WISE members!

My name is Suyanka Neupaney and I am the Chair of the UtahWISE section, and we would like to welcome you to our website! We have three more core members in our planning group- Sarah Galvez, Brenna Boelter and Naomi Recendez . We are very excited to start providing a new venue for safety professionals to network. Our UtahWISE chapter is new, we started in 2019. We would like to hear fresh ideas from fellow WISE members.  And remember, men as well as women and ASSP student members are encouraged to join us!

If you have any questions or comments, please contact me, Suyanka Neupaney

WISE Mission The ASSP Utah Chapter’s mission is to enhance the status and promote the advancement of the safety profession, to support our members, and to serve our community by participation in activities which enhance the quality of life of the community members.  Becoming a member of WISE will provide a platform to support women in the Environmental, Health and Safety Profession.

Why WISE? WISE is a great opportunity to network with other women in our safety community.  Our goal is to foster an environment that allows members to share ideas and be the voice of change in our community. WISE creates a safe environment that allows for discussion, encouraging and promoting women to make a greater impact within the safety profession and helping other women in our community.

What is expected of me as a WISE Member? Attend a quarterly teleconference whenever possible, introduce yourself to other members at our Chapter meetings, participate in our activities, express your innovative ideas and network!

What do I need to do to become a WISE Member? Simply designate a WISE chapter specialty when you renew your ASSP dues.  Then reach out to Suyanka Neupaney to join our group with your name and email address!  We also have a slack channel for Utah ASSP and WISE section where you can get all the updates including Chapter WISE meeting notes.

We are very excited for you to be part of our group.
